We are just TWO DAYS away in Canada from THE BIGGEST EVENT IN DEGRASSI HISTORY! Degrassi Takes Manhattan will start to end all speculation that we have heard for months! But it’s not quite that time yet and I wanted to move further along with Season 10 and talk abooooooooooooooooot Eli and Clare. Eli is so mysterious and Clare flipping the “Death” card in the Carnival Promo just adds to the storyline.
So, what do we know about Eli? His full name is Elijah “Eli” Goldsworthy, he seems to be crushing on Clare and he drives around in a hearse and gets beat up by Fitz in the new season. He is obviously mysterious, and gives us a great reason to speculate possible storylines.
I have recieved so many comments about the “Death” card and what that could mean. I have also recieved thoughts about his dark and mysterious ways having to do with that death card. My opinion is that its too much of a coincidence that he drives a hearse, is into death (maybe not afraid of it) and Clare revealing the death card. We haven’t really had an actual character like this so I hope I’m reading way too much into this, as I admittedly do. Someone will probably die in the season and the most likely, if you put everything thats in front us together, would be Eli.
I do however think that the “Death” card is going to be used to fool us. Degrassi doesn’t usually make things obvious, but rather they want us to be somewhat surprised and in doing so may be misleading us. I believe the person who will die is Declan. But lets not get into that. No one agrees with me and I’ve talked enough about that.
Im not ruling out an Eli death though. As I’ve said he is very mysterious and that same mystery may not go over well with some people as DCS. Fitz, for example will beat on him and I’m thinking its because he is different. This may lead Eli into a deep and darker path. He might runaway to get away from his troubles and we already know there will be a runaway storyline in the season and it could very well be him. Though, it probably will be KC. He seems to be getting in more and more trouble and might be getting sick of the foster home scene.
As for Eli and Clare, I believe this change will help Clare get over KC, but I just don’t see CleLi as a couple. But Clare seems to be changing and opposites do attract, I just can’t see these two as a vyable couple even though these two seem to have great chemistry at the picnic table.

“Degrassi doesn’t usually makes things obvious.” Um… yeah? All the absolutely brilliant season 5 promos were pretty dang obvious (if you don’t recall – a camera with a bra thrown on top of it, a shot of a hospital and a pregnancy test with voiceovers – can’t get more obvious than that.)
Let’s look at how many things were made blatantly obvious in the Carnival promo that we know for a fact are true.

Bianca is a bully / makes boyfriends disappear
Fitz is also a bully
and… Clare draws the death card while sitting at a table with Eli. Her face is shocked, and he only raises his eyebrows.
There is still no basis for Declan dying. I want to know why you’re so convinced he’ll commit suicide. Because he won’t. Degrassi spelled it out for us. Why would they have lied about that? They’ve always been blatantly obvious about things. This isn’t M. Night Shymalan or a Wes Craven movie. There aren’t red herrings everywhere for us to figure out. They don’t give us SPECIFICS, but everything they told us in the Carnival video was later proved to be true. Just because Declan wasn’t in the promo doesn’t mean he’ll be the one to commit suicide. Else, why would Clare have drawn the card? She doesn’t care about him… no offense. She wouldn’t have looked shocked for him. Eli, on the other hand, she has a connection to. Hence, why she drew the card. Hence, why she looked shocked. Hence WHY IT WILL NOT BE DECLAN. I say this as sweetly as possible… let it go.
“She doesn’t care about him” Are you forgetting about that MAJOR crush Clair had on Declan just a few episodes ago? It’s totally possible, but I wouldn’t bet on Declan, the funny, rich and totally sure of himself guy, killing himself.
Eli sounds like the next Rick Murray, so he could be planning to kill Drew(in the 8 episodes sneak peak, it says Eli is planning to take his revenge to far) and the gun might go off and kill someone(I.E. Leia or anyone else who is not going to be in the second half of the season
It might be declan who dies cuz todays episode holly j breaks up with declan on the phone , and remember on the movie degrassi the boiling point he only had 2 last chance. so he might do anything but she still wont forgive him , and since he loves her so much , he might want to kill him slef and eli is soooo hot anyways to get killed 😀
you never know though. this could be the ultimate shocker for everyone. now fiona is gone and was once the drama causing/ problem kid in NY. now she is back at degrassi and is getting better, who knows maybe Declan will become this troubled guy, this of course will be very upsetting seeing as declan is amazing and so confident. but at the same time. he wasnt in the promo at all. i definetly think something may be in store for declan in future episodes.
I dont think that it will be ELi or Declan for 1 elis to new to kill at this point we still need to know his past and lots about him so then they can make it as a bigger impact on all of us and 2 the hole death card thing i looked it up and the praducer r prob trying to trick us cause in furtiun telling a death card means something will change about you so since clare pulled the lovers card first it probably means that thier relationship will change not that he would die /the declane thing it just doesn’t relaymake seanse
Maybe we are all reading into the death card too much. Apparently Eli has a small obsession with death as shown by his hearse and his darkness and mysteriousness. And Clare flipped the death card and he just shrugged, which could mean he just likes death and isn’t afraid of it. It doesn’t necessarily mean there will be an actual death (even though we all want one).
Also, i think Elare sounds better than Cleli
I think that Adam will die. I think this because it would be really obvious if Eli dies. Adam is connected to Eli and Clare because they Help him cover up something and i think we allll kno what that is! Also if you see in the Episode guide that the wonderful Degrassination supplied 🙂 us with you see that in an episode Eli tries to put an end to Fitz’s Bullying. So i mean the door is open for anything. It could be Eli or it Could be Adam because we see them BOTH get beat up!

i think that Fitz tries to beat up Eli because he also has a crush on Clare. One of the things that gave me this conclusion was that face that one of the things on his profile is that he is into smart girls. why else would they put that unless it held some importance to the story.

I read someone’s prediction that Eli is sick and that’s why he didn’t looked too shocked when the Death Card was read. That might be true, but I think that maybe it’s not one of the main characters, maybe it’s one of Eli’s parents? He does have a pretty big storyline so I think they might focus some on his family. But I really think there’s going to be a death in season 10 because in the “Shark In The Water” promo, one of the words on the spinner is “Loss” and what else could that mean?

I actually like this idea of Eli being sick. For me, Eli is too big in the story line right now and I think him dying this season would be too soon. Finding out he’s sick and might die would stretch his story out longer, and it would explain the death card, Clare’s shocked expression and Eli’s casual shrug. Don’t get my wrong guys, I REALLY don’t want him to die, maybe we are reading way to into this.
As for the word “loss” on the spinner, I don’t think it means ‘loss’ as in ‘death’ I just think everyone this season will lose something.
We’ve already seen Sav loses Anya again, Holly J loses the election (And possibly Declan?) Claire parent’s might be getting a divorce and Riley loses his place on the football team and his boyfriend.

Jaclyn, i totally agree with you! Except for the part about Clare not caring about Declan, you were completely right. Declan will NOT be the one who dies, or at least by suicide anyways. That would be as probable as Peter relapsing and overdosed! Personally, I think if anyone commits suicide, it would be Riley or KC.

Thank you dahling. I know, I know I claimed to be a Degrassi aficionado (and I so am- when they actually GO there) but like I said above, the past two seasons have been completely forgettable. Aside from Spinner getting shot and Alli losing her virginity, nothing major happened at all. It was so boring and blase. I did actually like the Declan/Clare eppy but since it was about the vampire craze, that’s probably why I forgot it. I just can’t wait for Degrassi to actually have relevance again. I’ve been waiting since Darcy’s rape to be truly engrossed in this show and aside from Johnny/Alli and me being shocked at Spinner getting shot, it hasn’t happened yet. Also with the Declan/Clare ep, my mind was already in Season 10! lol.
Riley committing suicide would be so amazing and sad. He has a completely valid reason, and I can even see it happen. Only that it would…
I mean it doesn’t bother me because I don’t like Riley or K.C. so i hope if anyone dies it will be them i mean i am not to fond of their characters!! Fitz beats up Eli because Eli wants to put an end to his bullying. I think the death card is meant for Clare’s parents marriage. Clare would seem shocked because she probably never would’ve thought that her parents relationship would go down the drain. That’s just what I think. But I might be wrong because the death card may have something to do with the lockdown coming up in this season. I highly, highly doubt that Declan would kill himself because he’s over confident and wouldn’t probably think about it. And I seriously doubt it would be Adam because they wouldn’t bring him there for a little bit of time, when his storyline could go very far. I also don’t think Eli would die, in this season anyways, because his storyline can also go far. I just don’t think it will be any of the new characters but, as I said, that’s just what I think. I could be wrong. And with all the ideas Degrassi can come up with in this season, I do not think they will do the exact same thing with the lockdown and death in Season 10 as they did with Rick Murray. They’ll probably make it more interesting.
But in the preview Holly J. finds out Declan is cheating on her so if they break up he would have a reason to commit suicide, but it’s true. The death card was drawn for ELI not DECLAN.

I really hope eli doesnt die and stays for a couple of seasons …personally i have never watched the show and the only reason i am now is because munro chambers is on the show …he is from the same town as me and hes pretty hot…he should not die though…has degrassi ever done a plot line about drugs or alcohol if not i completly think it would fit the way eli looks but no drugs or alcohol mabye just smoking …it would suit him….

I just don’t think Eli’s going to die. The Degrassi fanbase would suffer too much; there’s no way they’d kill a character in their debut season, especially one that has already garnered so many fans. My guess is either that someone else dies, but he is involved; perhaps a family member, perhaps he kills someone. But not Eli. There would just be no point in killing him off so soon.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for a couple in Degrassi history 🙂 For some reason, the bad boy/cute nerdy girl couples get me every time. And plus, I love boys who wear tight pants ❤
The last couple I reaaaaally liked was Ellie/Craig, and we all know how that worked out. I'm so pleased that Degrassi's finally branching out and incorporating new types of characters instead of just recycling the Emmas and the Seans like they have been for so long. Hopefully they'll start to "go there" again. It's about damn time.
And for some reason I'm rooting for an Eli/Clare pregnancy storyline, or maybe just some drama about her losing her virginity. All the "good virgin girls" on Degrassi always end up losing their V card, feeling guilty, and going psycho. Ex. Darcy. Ex. Alli. Ex. Liberty, Manny, etc., etc. But I feel like with Clare it would be different, since she's so religious and headstrong.

in the same scene that fitz and eli fight, they show a shot of both guys getting slammed into the wall by officers. i don’t think eli will die but i do think something deathly will happen to clare and ali- maybe not them dieing but someone close like sav or kc, or crazier clares parents
p.s. i don’t think eli is in any way like rick. teennick said that the name and character will sorta be a homage to ellie, and she was nothing like rick. also i can’t see clare going for someone who hurts others, ore for the hot-tempered ones

I totally agree with Jenny…if Eli kills Fitz then not only will Eli stay on the show (pleasing his already ravenous and huge fanbase) but also bringing the “death” card prediction to fruition.
Fitz has already become the most hated character of Season 10, and I think everyone can agree that they’d rather see him die than Eli. Plus, since Clare seems to be a pretty main character in Season 10 (she’s the third person to appear in the beginning credits, she’s all over the promos and she got a complete makeover for the new season) I doubt they’d off her love interest. If they do, it won’t be this season; they’ll probably stretch out their relationship, go through the motions of a usual D-grass courtship. You know the dance–the drawn-out flirtation, the audience-satisfying first kiss, the boyfriend-girlfriend clarification, the “first time doing it” drama (which will be especially dramatic, since Clare’s so religious), and the eventual breakup…which I’m not looking forward to 😦 They have gorgeous chemistry, it’s such a shame. I do actually think they’ll eventually kill Eli off simply because it would be hard for them to come up with a cause for their breakup. But that won’t be for at least another season, come on. I vote for a Fitz death. Huzzah!

and ikky, i dont think eli is like rick either, i just think he might end up killing fitz. Not on a whim, mind you, probably in self defense or during a fight. And its not like Fitz will be an innocent victim this season–he basically tortures Adam constantly (including throwing him through a glass window) and beats Eli up for no reason. So for Eli to defend himself wouldn’t make him a hothead.
And lol, Clare definitely DOES fall for the guys with tempers. KC? Hello? He was pissed at her for like four episodes just because he thought she’d judge him about the group home thing. Not to mention KC just kind of went crazy all around.
I’m convinced Clare won’t die. That would suck; she’s becoming such an interesting and vibrant character for me. I really want to see how she develops.
As for Eli being like Ellie, I gathered that from the fact that they both wear all black (at least, Ellie did the first two seasons she was in). If he has a storyline similar to hers it might involve self-harm or an absent parent, but since he is supposed to have a completely new storyline it might be something more creative, like a type of drug abuse never been breached on Degrassi or alcohol abuse. We haven’t had an alcoholic storyline, really. Not with a student, anyway.

I think the death card doesn’t mean literal death just the ending of something. I think it means Clare will finally get over KC and will be happy w/ Eli. But maybe someone will die I really hope its not Clare though it would probably be Fitz maybe that’s just what I think.

In degrassi they have a new character named eli. He is very dark and mysterious and I like that about him very much. His gothic look is very appealing. They way he says stuff just makes you want to listen. And I am very worried that he or clare will die because in the degrassi commercial it’s hints were very true about some of the other charecters. Savv on the knife spinner thing with holly jay throwing knives is like the presidential election, the two faced girl was right about anya she took savvs side. And allys kissing booth with dave and the guy she likes. And now I’m worried clare or eli will die because she was a fortune teller and she pulls out a lovers card (they are lovers as you can see) and then a death card. And in English class they will be reading ‘the catcher in the rye’ which makes me think that eli’s a serial killer. But I also think that maybe one of them get’s murdered by a cerial killer.

Okay, Eli is amazing! Just saying. I’m trying to put this all together myself.
#1. True, why would they have Eli die? Degrassi would lose a lot of fans. Plus, they already had JT literally stabbed in the back, one huge point of Degrassi at one time.
#2. The cards together just say, “The lovers death.” It doesn’t necessarily have to be Clare or Eli. There are lots of possibilities there. (Parents, Siblings, Classmates, etc.) Think about it, Eli WANTS Clare to talk things out with her parents.. Like he didn’t have a chance to.?

If you ask me, I think that Eli isnt gonna die. Maybe the death card was there to freak us out. Or maybe Clare and Eli break-up. You never knw. But i do agree about Declan. He wouldnt kill himself. He has way to much confidence. But I think Eli nor nobody dies. Idk

Everyone is making such a big deal with the Death card. The Death card symbolizes spiritual transformation and clearing the path for something new to enter your life.
So, it could have nothing to do with an actual death…though I think someone might die this season…but either Fitz, KC, or an older character…
The idea of Eli killing Fitz secretly is interesting, though he doesn’t see the type…What if Clare accidentally killed him, and to protect her, Eli hides the body. Now that would “go there”.

I just got into Degrassi after along time not watching it and

There is a big rumor going around (and I already read from all of your comments LOL yeah im that bored :P) that someone obviously going to die. its either KC, Eli, Riley, or even Declan. I thought Friona would commit sucide when she walked on the edge of the roof. Anyway back to the point,
Degrassi always have alot of twists. And it’s too obvious that the Death Card means death. So I PULL out my OWN tarot cards, with the dictionary and define death. Its must have another meaning. I know that. Because Im sure they not going to kill off Eli.

umm i think that eli or claire will become lovers even when one of them dies. but im not sayin one of them dies. i think that someone in thier family will die or some friend will. as for the lockdown i think k.c is on the rage and is goin to kill someone. jenna might want to get back at claire and do something horrible. i think claire andf eli r the purfect couple cuz they r compltle oppistes.

I think that the death card means the death of clare’s parent’s marrige, she would b really surprised cause she said herself it couldnt happen but eli wouldnt b because he suggested it might happen also that would make clare grow as aperson and hopefully closer to eli which gives the death card double meaning. the card together r lovers’s death which is what a divorce is anyway

With the whole “death card” thing, I don’t think it will be Eli, Declan, or Adam. I think Riley and K.C. would be more likely choices since they both have still been coping with the same problems they’ve had since the beginning so it would make sense why one of them might commit suicide. But I could be wrong even about someone actually dying. Instead it could be like one person wrote and the “death card” being a warning to Eli. But K.C. seems more likely to die because he seems to be getting worse instead of better. His mom may possibly go back to drugs and alcohol which may push K.C. over the edge to do something rash like committing suicide. Another thought I’ve had is Eli, Clare, and Fitz. Is there a possible love triangle in bloom or something? I’ve been reading a lot of articles and such (because I’m such a devoted Degrassi fan) and many have mentioned a possible Fitz crush on Clare (because he likes “smart girls” and Clare is the only notoriously known smart girl featured on the show). Now I don’t know about any of you since no one seems to like Fitz, but I think it’d be pretty interesting if something happened between Fitz and Clare. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love Eli and Clare together! I think they are adorable, but I think having a (misunderstood?), insecure, bully (Fitz) and the deep, mysterious new stranger (Eli) crushing on the pretty, intelligent, nerdy writer (Clare) would be something never done before in Degrassi history (or so I think). I think if Clare, thinking nothing of Fitz and it being an unrequited love, had a moment with Fitz and he opened up to her, we would see more of Fitz and his back story. I’ve heard rumors that eli’s gonna die. HE”S NOT GONNA DIE! Why bring in a new character when ur just gonna kill him? But it could happen tho cuz rick murray wasn’t there very long. he was in a couple of episodes then he left then he came back for a couple more episodes just to shoot jimmy. Here’s the thing…in Tarot the ‘Death’ card does not mean actual, physical death. It is symbolic for a life transition- the death of the past, and so forth. Think about it…what is Clare’s main goal this season? To put her past behind her, to show everyone she’s not the girl they think she is. Factor in a new guy and her parents separating and you’ve got a new life. I think the symbolism in the Eclare storyline has been the best I’ve seen in Degrassi since the eighties (yes, I am that old). Eli ushers in this new phase in her life by running over the last bit of ‘Old Clare’ (i.e. her glasses), and with a hearse, no less! Also, there was the wonderful bit in the classroom with Eli and Clare chatting about her paper and whether she should skip. Eli is eating an apple- anyone catch the Eden reference here? Total symbolism. They have set Eli up as the ‘tempter in the garden’. Seeing as Clare has always been painted as this ‘prim and proper’ girl, I believe Eli will help her step outside of the label and become the woman she is meant to be.
Personally, I am an Eclare shipper. They are so damn cute and I really hope they get some good air time as a couple.
I reeeally hope Eli doesn’t die! I have a hunch that it might be Claire, which would be a score for the degrassi writers, since they usually don’t have such big twists. It fits perfectly to- having a boyfriend with a hearse. It probably won’t be though, since Claire has been doing so well the past season. It would be so poetic thought for dead Claire to ride in the back of Eli’s hearse to her funeral, even though thats kind of morbid

The Death Card:
It’s on everyone’s mind. Let’s be honest it has to be something dramatic considering how forgettable and dissapointing the last few episodes have been the death (which there deffinently should be) will have to add in some of the old drama before everything was staged the EXACT SAME WAY!
Anyway, I’ve been reading most of the posts on this website and I just thought I might want to clarify some things. Adam is STAYING! We all know that Degrassi has showed the struggles of being gay, drug abuse and suicide. I think that keeping Adam in the story is going to be their way of introducing the struggles of being a trans-gender. Drew is also staying because if you haven’t figured it out yet Adam is Drew’s step-brother. I think we’re all focusing on Eli too much right now; after all they have to keep his secret untill the last episode or maybe next season to keep all the fans like me watching. I think Eli is also going to stay… he’s just started on the show and the fan numbers have practically doubled.
I think that Jenna, Bianca, Alli or one of the Power Squad members might go just because they’re unexpected victims. Because Jenna doesn’t know her own secret I think she might become addicted to diet pills or have a serious reaction of some sort to the ones she already took. Bianca is an achoholic so she might OD or something dramatic like that with KC and die… but that seems pretty unlikley. I think Alli could go due to an STD or something because she’s not exactly being safe. And that leaves the Power Squad; all of them are so perfect and seem like they don’t have any secrets, and that’s why I think Jenna might die.
Also, Jenna was close to Claire before she took her BF, and she’s also KC’s new girlfriend… it would be intrested to see her die and see if Claire would keep Eli or go back for KC.
i dont think eli dies cuz remmeber when clarie tells someone tht the darma in degrassi will come to a boil and eli is next to her with a green shirt but maybe eli almost faces death when him a fitz get in a fight

I do think the death card is meant for Eli:( for one Clare is the tarot reader that means she is reading the cards for Eli but I don’t think he’s gonna die I just think there’s gonna be a significant change or transformation and if there’s going to be any kind of suicide or death its gonna involve Adam. Adam is a transgender in HIGHSCHOOL and when it gets out and I’m sure it will there’s going to be nothing but problems for her, in which she might think of taking her own life or someone else might just go to far and end up taking her life even if it doesn’t happen this season…

okay personally i think that if anyone is going to die, it’s gonna be Leia. Mostly because she only signed up for the first 24 episodes and it makes more sense. Unless i find out someone else was only in for the first 24 i would think it was them. It could also be Drew or Bianca because in one of the episode summaries released it says that Bianca takes Drew to the boiler room (and this is near the end of the 24 episodes) so maybe it has something to do with that. I know for sure that Clare isn’t going to die because a week or two ago melinda shankar (a.k.a. alli) put a youtube video up with Aislinn in it and they talk about how the two of them just had an emotional scene with them fighting and crying because of their friendship so since they are filming the second half of the season that means that Clare is alive. Also yesterday Aislinn tweeted that she had a read through so that means that she is definetly still on Degrassi.
I no one dies, i agree with the theory that the death card is for Eli because he’s gonna change or even for Clare because she’s gonna change. If Eli changes I wanna see him not dress in black, maybe some color, just to see what people would think. If it was meant for Clare changing she already has because her looks, obivously, and Eli has had such a infulence on her. I mean seriously. She cut class, got the courage to ask about her parents marital issues, so really the sky’s the limit here. Plus the whole death of the old clare, birth of the new clare thing totally makes sense since Eli ran over her glasses, which were the symbol of the old clare.

Eli..is not gonna die because he’s one of the best, and newest on degrassi. Plus all the girls, well fans are falling for his gothic darkness and good looks and his personality.
I think that it’s either someone close to him, but not claire because they are gonna have a long love storyline together in all the interviews I watched I was pretty sure that the whole new pregnancy storyline would be for Eli and claire because claire was a goody goody just like liberty, but liberty and J.T had a baby and I think claire and Eli are a take off of them. Plus Eli is like Ellie well a boy version anyway.I kinda got mad though, because Eli and Claire were flirting but then they kinda stoped and made Eil hang with Sav and Adam more and i hope and they get back to flirting plus i wanna see k.c get jealous for claire having a crush on 11th grader aka Eli but I have to say this is the best season by far since J.T died

I read somewhere that there’s an episode on like aug 19th & on that episode eli give’s clare mixed signals. i hope it doesn’t take too long for them to get together. & it’s possible that clare could get pregnant cuz darcy also wore an abstinence ring but she got rid of it like after she had sex with peter. so why not clare? anything’s possible at degrassi.

Heres my prediction for the Eclare couple: CLARE will die because the actress that plays her is going to college in the middle of the season… i like the couple but i dont think that Declan will die ALTHOUGH you guys may be on to something with Eli being sick either way the situation is sad…then again he just may have an obsession with death too many possibilites 😦

From what I’m guessing, Eli got into a car accident with his girlfriend, and she died. Because he was driving, he blames himself.
It makes perfect sense. The Lover’s card, the Death card. He likes Clare, but he still hates himself for what happened. And since the Death Card also means change, it could signify him changing, and finally realizing that his girlfriend’s death wasn’t his fault.
It all comes together…and yea, I’m sure Jenna is pregnant. I think its KC’s, but its odd that we were never told about them having sex. So I won’t say much on in, I don’t really know.

See, Clare got rid of the old uniform, stopped with the over-nerdyness, cut her hair short, and her and K.C. are over. She is ready for someone else in her life. (Eli and Clare sitting in a tree…) And as for the glasses were the only thing really connecting her to her old self. But Eli ran them over and says “I think thier dead” So mabye thats a clue. Or it could have something to do with the fact he feels responsible for his Ex-girlfriends death. Or it means someone dies.

Hopefully not. It’s been mentioned before that if Eli dies (not only will myself and many other girls have a nice chat with the writers and producers) they will lose a lot of viewers. They’d lose me too, I mean he really just got here. How can you kill off someone who could have such a long storyline? I just gotta keep telling myself it isn’t gonna happen.

You get this increditbly unique but mysterious guy on the show. You have him for only a few episodes, and usually in little tibits, and then you just kill the guy off?
He’s got a spark with Clare, he’s got this ‘war’ going on with Fitz, there is his friendship with Adam, and theres also the fact we (or aleast I) don’t know anything about his past other then what happened with his ex-girlfriend Julia.
Degrassi loves to surprise us, but the writers aren’t that stupid, hopefully.
So I don’t think Eli dies, but who knows? (fan wise, clearly the acters/actresses, writers and ect know)

I saw on the spoiler section at teen nick.com that Eli loses his guitar pick necklace (rumared to have been a gift from julia) and that it gone thorwn away beacause of the new dress code and teachers and officals cleaned out lockers so he`s looking in the garbage cans…..? Also why clare ran out crying i think that Clare and Eli get into this big fight and he called her julia on acceident because clare turned goth for a bit and she remined Eli of julia. And the reason for her going goth was because her parents are geting a divorce and she probley has a melt down rsulting goth clare and trying to lose her virniting (again saw at the spoiler sectiion) and i think mostly all this takes place in Jesus take the wheel parts 1&2. Or someone we least expect will die… But I Agree its Not Fair to lose Eli! hes a biggg part of Degrassi in The first half of Season 1o! I dont want Wesley Back! and.. Maybe Anya Will Come back!! Any way in umbrella the episode that comes after love lockdown it says that clare is still on her wild streak and Eli trys to help her (obviously, such a good boyfriend :)) his parents offer her somthing strange…… people think that they offer for her to live with them because her famliy is crumbling and she feels inored so that would be preaty cool and you get to that episodes promo on the degrassi season 10 wiki and its preaty cool you gotta wacth it anyway thats all i have right now if i find out anthing els i promis ill post it
Hey again! OMG!!!!!!!! Saw the new episode love lockdown not as good as the promo meant it to be …….. but anyway i really hated it how clare was acting all smug at the diinner table and hurting eli at the same time but its kind of hard not to feel compassion for her because of what she`s going throuh anyway saw the new promos for teen nick and much music in the M&M (much music) you saw WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY More and now im all hyped up for the episode because wait for it…………. ELI`S PARENTS ARE IN THE EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!!! no offense but they look a little weird no wonder he always wears black and Clare asks if she can SPEND the night with ELI. Do you think their gonna ‘do it’ or if she needs a place to crash? ahhhhhh can`t wait the next episode!

Saw the new episode Umbrella 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was by far the best Eclare episode YET!!!!!!!!! I was crying till the very end learning so much:) (Sigh) its really gonna suck when the episodes finsh…… at least ti`ll Febuary (a.k.a my bithday mouth) which will be so awsome but at least When They DO go off will be able to some theroies

Okay, I doubt Eli or Declin will die. I really just think that the death card clare flipped over was just talking about Julia. Just b/c she flipped it over doesn’t mean someone has to die, I mean come on. She looked shocked, okay, well she was shocked when he said this Is where I killed my gf. Just b/c in some of the other seasons – which I’ve been watching since season one with Lauren, spinner, manny, jimmy, jt, and all them. – someone died, doesn’t automatically mean it will happen now. Jeez, just wait for it to come up.
um….. i think we already covered that like at very begng once that episode took place. A lot has happened And I mean LOT has happened since the death card right now we`er talking about what happened in umbrella 1& 2 when clare wanted to sleep with Eli in part 1 and he rejected her and in 2 she learned about Eli`s hourding problem (means not throwing stuff out) and she`s helping him and he said mabey about the sleeping part so………. Yeah

I think that Eli is going to try to kill himself. Because in the promo of Degrassi In Too Deep Eli is in the car and then he leans back and closes his eyes like he waiting on something to happen. Also it shows Clare calling Eli and him not picking up. So I think he’s going to try to kill himself but it’s not going to work, because Eli is one of the most loved characters and I think that a lot of people would stop watching Degrassi if Eli is killed off.

okay well I watched the commercial which is supposed to come out this friday and it’s 2 hours, I think he does cause hes all “you tore….MY HEART OUT” and Claire is all “ELI ANSWER ME!” then Eli goes: you promised to be with me forever then it’s like he closes his eyes andd has a purpose car crash, I really do think he dies, it’s always the favorites, J.T. now Eli?
okay first J.T only died because the actor wanted to go to college and Eli wont die brcause he brings in lots of viewers and if hes killed off that would br suiside for the show. But whats with clare saying WERE NOT MEANT TO BE TOGETHER i mean ihpe shes not talking to Eli ……. but what if its Friz! FRIZ COMES BACK!!!!! Thats gotta mean llots of drama for eclare pluse if you look on the future episode plots you see on one of the eclare episodes that their planning on sleeping together so why would they break up? It has to do somthing with Friz.
